Brits Gilding Day. 17th Nov

Hi all BERG Members,

Herewith directions to the Brits Gliding Club.

From Randburg follow (Hanstrijdom) the R512 past Lanseria Airport to Pelindaba until you get to the T junction.

Turn Left and carry on towards Pecanwood Golf estate. After long down hill and Sharp bend to left pas Pecanwood (on your right hand side). Cary on for +/- 2.5 Km and turn right over railway crossing (still R512). Cross bridge over Hartebessport dam.
Turn Right at the next T junction(R 560) and carry on over Komandonek until next T junction. Turn left on the R511 and carry on for +/- 11.5Km to Brits.
At Speedy Tyre and exhaust turn Right on Van Velden Street and carry on for +/- 9 km to the Brits Airfield on the Right.

Be there at around 10.30 and you my bring a park flyer or RC chuck glider along for late in the afternoon flight.
Remember braai packs and beverages will be available.
