Aerial photos of BERG

Some aerial shots of BERG's field taken from the north while overflying the farmers house.
In the top of each shot you can see the bottom of the wing. The white blob on the field are our cars. To the right is the pumphouse and the farmworkers coumpound above that, just under the wing.
Another two views, with the Western field in the top right, road and accross the road another field and dam

This view shows the eastern field, the Chicken runs, Flower Farms under the Tunnels and in the background above the white tunnels the Krugersdorp ridge where the paragliders fly.
The camera is taped to the side of my 2,45 met Skabenga under the wing.
It has no effect on the flying of the model what so ever and hardly even notices the 91 grams extra weight.

The camera is operated by a 371 servo with a modified output arm.
I made up a balsa housing to protect the camera and hold the servo A real cheap digital camers that takes about 26 shout was used. The photos have to be downloaded to a computer to view them as there is no viewing screen on the camera.

Very impressive Ev - but lets have some low pass shots of the launch area - and we want to see the whites of your eyes if possible :-)
